Indirect item costs in this window are ultimately spread to all of your bid items, except for any subcontractor or joint venture costs. What this means is that if there is a set of indirect items that you know will be reliably used for multiple jobs, it's possible to set up a "template job" containing all of those indirect items already inserted.
