Progress Payment quantities, based on defined billing weights, are automatically generated for a given pay period from the dates of the daily logs.

Equipment Rates can be defined by area, allowing for multiple rates for the same equipment; Special Time & Materials (T&M) rates are also supported.

The Daily Log is used to record progress on the jobsite to provide the foreman and project manager with instant "estimate vs. actual" feedback of Crew (labor and equipment), Material, Subcontractor, and/or Other costs.

The Budget Item Estimate is the original estimate of the selected item or sub-item (created in the SharpeSoft Estimator) for comparison with the actual resources used and their production rates.

Labor Rates can be defined by area and/or classification, allowing for multiple rates for the same employee, as well as special Time & Materials (T&M) rates; Default equipment can optionally be assigned to each employee.

Potential Claims can be created to identify hours that can later be converted to an approved change order; In the event the change order is not approved, these potential claim hours are still costed against the original work item.

Jobs are automatically created when importing the original estimate from the SharpeSoft Estimator; Additional relevant information can be added or updated as needed.

This companion program to the SharpeSoft Estimator Software makes it easy to track job progress from the field quickly and with exacting accuracy.

Once you have won the bid using Estimator, your estimate can be transferred in the form of a budget to Field Reporter, including the amounts of labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, plugs, and other estimated costs for each sub-item.

As your foremen record the day’s progress on each budget item, the system automatically calculates the unit costs, costs to date, and other costs for that workday.
