Set Tree Level in SharpeSoft Estimator

1 min read

This short blog will cover setting the item tree level when inside the Bid Item Detail View in SharpeSoft Estimator. What we mean by tree level is how expanded the information contained in the item tables will be displayed to the user by default. Setting tree item levels are especially useful for tables with several hundred individual items, which might ordinarily be time-consuming to parse.

How to:

  • Open a bid item to the Bid Item Detail View.

  • Select a table of information to have its default tree level adjusted; in this example we will use the Assemblies table.

  • Click on the Options menu with the previous window open, select Set Tree Level.

  • Most of the item trees will be set to a default level of '2', with all of the information shown in full. To shrink the item list, set the tree level to '1'.

  • Click OK.

  • User choices made for the item level will remain even after the program is closed. Each item detail table can also be adjusted individually to best serve your needs.
