About SharpeSoft Inc.

SharpeSoft Inc. was founded in 1986 by an estimator discouraged with the estimating software he found on the market. The programs available made the bidding process difficult and unnatural since they did not allow estimators to bid the way they were used to. Rather they required the user to follow a rigid format created by a software developer who had no actual construction or estimating experience. These companies took something that should be so simple and made it very difficult. We decided to take a common sense approach and create an in-house program with the same terminology and format used in the construction industry. We wanted an estimating program that is actually a beneficial tool rather than a hindrance. We wanted to make it possible for estimators to feel comfortable bidding a job without the need to be computer literate.

SharpeSoft Inc. is located in the shadow of the Sutter Buttes near Yuba City, California, one of the best places in California!

Yuba City is located approximately 40 miles north of the State Capital, Sacramento. Two of the State's major economic powerhouses (the San Francisco Bay Area, and Silicon Valley) are within a 2 to 3 hour drive from the City. The area climate is typically one of warm, dry summers and moderately cold winters. Summer high temperatures average from the 90's to low 100's, and winter lows average in the high 20's. Most of the annual rainfall occurs from late fall through the spring.
